Geoff Gavey

Geoff Gavey is the Managing Director of FirstRand Trustees Limited and a Director of the holding company FirstRand International Wealth Management Holdings Limited which also owns Ashburton (Jersey) Limited. Prior to joining the Group in 1997, he was a Director of Fairbairn Trust Company Limited, a subsidiary of Old Mutual. Previously, he worked for Lloyds Bank International in both Guernsey and Gibraltar. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner.
Anton Maskowitz

Anton Maskowitz is a Director of FirstRand Trustees Limited. He started his career in the financial services industry when he joined Old Mutual in 1994 as a Legal Advisor. He subsequently joined Nedcor Investment Bank in the same capacity until the end of 1999, where after he joined the FirstRand Group. He obtained B Com (law), LLB and completed both the Higher Diploma in Taxation and International Taxation. Anton is also an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and a Member of the Financial Planning Institute of South Africa.

Alan Glen is a Director of FirstRand Trustees Limited. He had been working in the finance industry for 15 years and has completed the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Certificate and the Institute of Directors Diploma in Company Direction. He has been with the company for 8 years and previously worked at Fairbairn Trust Company Limited. Throughout his career in the local finance industry, Alan has primarily focused on dealing with principals based in South Africa.

Chris Thompson is a Trust Manager of FirstRand Trustees Limited and has been working in the finance industry for 29 years. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Trustee Diploma) and a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He previously worked for National Westminster Guernsey Trust Company and Royal Bank of Canada Trust Company (Guernsey). He has been with the company for 11 years in the role of office manager and client servicing manager and has vast experience of both personal and institutional clients.

He has been working in the finance industry for 11 years, and has completed the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Certificate and Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration. He has been with the company for 4 years, having previously worked for Kleinwort Benson (Channel Islands) Limited and the bank of Bermuda (Guernsey) Limited.
