FirstRand Junior Endurance Squad Success

Congratulations to Katie Rowe who was crowned Inter Counties Cross Country Champion on Saturday 13th March. Katie, who is part of the FirstRand sponsored Junior Endurance Squad and was running for the Hampshire county team, competed in the U13 Girls race and produced a fantastic kick for the finish with 150m remaining to cross the line as Champion.

Katie's race and interview was shown live on Sky Sports. Finlay Wright, who is also part of the FirstRand Junior Endurance Squad competed in the U13 boys race and finished in a very credible 17th place out of 295 competitors and also picked up a silver medal after helping Hampshire to 2nd place in the team standings.
